The player is a boy who suddenly wakes up in an underground cave with a rare jumping ability.

The game mechanics are simple, hold down X to charge up the jump energy, the longer pressed, the higher the character will jump. It has three levels right now,  If I see that people like the game, I'll make a more original and polished version.

Although the game has its own mechanics, it was initially inspired by Celeste, since it is a game that I really liked and I used it as inspiration to create my first game (this is my first game).

NOTE: The web version the background looks blurry and the audio has lag, I recommend playing it in the native versions.

Enjoy it!

Funny Mechanic, Good Job! try my games and have fun too!😊

Hello. This is a cool game. This is probably a long shot, but do you happen to remember how you implemented the charge to jump mechanic? I am trying to do a similar thing with a charged jump from a ladder state. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the source code, I used godot, and c#, but it's easy to translate to gdscript. I only use godot for this, so I don't remember much, I don't even have godot installed to open the project.

If I remember correctly, in the player script there is a function to calculate the energy, I think it was an exponential function, but I have been trying until the sensation was pleasant, although surely it can be refined much more.

Now I don't remember if I have used FSM (finite state machine) if so, look at the JumpingState script file.

Kiguy Source Code (godot 3.x)

Thanks a ton. I am just starting to learn to code, so it helps to have examples.

WOW! Super well done. Character has some weight to him. I really like the death sound effect. I did a whole lot better once I made it full screen. Nice job, keep up the great work!

Hi JHyde! thank you! :)

Antibody looks promising, I have not been able to play it because  right now i'm with a Macbook,  when i have access to my girlfriend's pc i will install it.

Cheers!
